Reward for Information on Trail Fire

The City of Monticello is offering a $1,000 reward for tips that lead to the arrest and conviction of persons connected with the May 23 walk/bike trail fire, which destroyed a portion of the trestle that helps span the Sangamon River.

Tips should be referred to the Piatt County Sheriff's at 762-7822 or the Monticello Police Department at 762-7727.
