The flag is up and displayed, the burgers are grilled and eaten, looks like another successful Memorial Day Weekend has come to be. Now all we need is a great big storm to call it complete.
Sometimes it feels like I can go months without a single freelance job. Then out of the blue it seems like everyone is reaching out to you to work on a project for them. Right now I have an author of a children's book and a national cave exploration club asking me to do some work for them. I also have three more design jobs pending.
It is hard to complain that you have to much work, in world where so many do without.
The Angry Bunny is Kenn Wislander's alter ego/webcomic. For the most part this account is used to test the user experience for everyone on the site who is not an Administrator. I will probably not post too many items on the site using this account once it gets out of beta testing, but it is still a valid account.
This blog post is really just making sure everything in the structure is working the way that it is supposed to, and that the posts all go to the right places in the system.
A few years ago, when I moved to Monticello, Illinois, I found it was difficult to locate a single location to find everything I needed to know about the area without having to search the Internet over and over, or make several phone calls. After going through that experience I thought there has to be a better way, which is what made me decide to put this page together.
Sometimes I come up with something that I believe is a good idea. If you tell people about it, they all say it's a great idea. Of course if they are you friends they will always say that it is a great idea even if they think otherwise.
This really was the birth of iMonticello. I'm not sure if anyone will ever actually use this page, or if it will become part of the 98% clutter that makes up the world wide web; but for now it is my tool, my toy, my portal for the town I live in. I plan to keep it up to date as much as possible. It would be great if other people stop by and add things, or use it as their main Monticello page. For now it is a work in progress.
If you happened to stumble upon the page feel free to tell anyone you like about it, create an account if you want, and kick the tires if you feel like it.
